E-Rickshaw Accident Claims Young Man’s Life in Farrukhabad
A young man died in Farrukhabad’s Kampil area after the e-rickshaw he was driving overturned while transporting bakery goods. Despite being rushed to a community health centre by emergency ambulance, doctors declared him dead, raising fresh concerns over e-rickshaw and road safety in the region.
The incident occurred in Rudayan village under the Kampil police station limits. According to initial information, the victim was transporting bakery supplies in an e-rickshaw when the vehicle suddenly went out of control. The e-rickshaw overturned on the road, trapping the driver underneath and causing critical injuries.
Passersby at the scene rushed to help and immediately alerted emergency services. An ambulance from the 108 emergency response network arrived promptly and transported the injured man to the nearest Community Health Centre. Despite medical efforts, doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Police officials confirmed that the accident was reported to local authorities and that standard procedures are being followed.
